web sites and test the net advertising waters Yahoo! has
developed a new Web Launch format.
Web Launch will now have 2 rotating banners featuring 3
advertiser icons per banner.
One week of advertising on the Web Launch page is $1000.00.

Tenagra Sponsorship Rates
Primary sponsorship: $300 per week for sponsorships running through
the end of November, 1996. Effective February 1997 the rate will
increase to $375 per week.
Exclusive sponsorship: $800 per week for sponsorships running through
the end of November, 1996. Effective February 1997 the rate will
increase to $1,000 per week.
The classic pricing model that has emerged on the
Internet/WWW is based on the cost per thousand (CPM)
"impressions" that are delivered to a viewer.
A typical rate for a general interest audience is $20.00
per thousand impressions delivered. More targeted audiences
of more specific demographics generally fetch higher rates.
As mentioned, Internet-Sales subscribers are a relatively
well-defined demographic - people who are interested in
conducting online business. The CPM to sponsor Internet-Sales
is $20.00.
The current cost of a one week sponsorship is $400.00,
calculated as follows:
(4,000 subscribers) X (5 days/week) = 20,000 impressions
(20,000 impressions) X ($20.00/thousand) = $400.00
